My eye searches for and finds strong shadows and delineation of form. Bold visceral strength and beauty inspires. I have worked every day for the last 30 years, with my love for the medium of photography. Part of my early training came from working for two great masters, Richard Avedon and Arnold Newman. I believe that all of my life's experiences, the hours in galleries and museums looking at painting, sculpture and photography, my mixed background that is Swiss/American and having lived for 20 years in the available and penetrating light that Puerto Rico delivers has shaped how my eye sees; the books I have read shape content. I seek at all times, a deep visual resonance.
